A good woman is hard to find, especially if you’re a rigger. That’s my job, though—I climb high steel in arenas and rig tons upon tons of concert equipment. The more vacuous the music, the more dazzling the doodads. Over the last few months, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Lady Gaga came through town with over a hundred tons of gear to hang combined.
I generally steer clear of the performances, but not always. So there I was, my eyes peeled open like Alex from A Clockwork Orange, stifling the urge to puke while suppressing an erection as gaggles of plastic booty shook across the stage.

Osama bin Laden Dead? Which one?
Well, it looks like they finally rolled out Osama bin Laden. I wonder how long they have had this guy on ice, waiting for the perfect moment to bring him out. The question is, which Osama did they kill? The fat one? The skinny one?
What a blessing for the Obama 2012 campaign! Obama will use this stage-managed event to justify more war in Libya and elsewhere. The timing couldn’t have been better for the president. Now, people will forget all about this:

Short Life Expectancy for BP Whistleblowers?

The investigation, if it can properly be so called, of the unsolved murder of the former high ranking Pentagon official and presidential advisor John P. Wheeler III, who was also an expert on chemical and biological weapons, may be taking a turn in the direction of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Wheeler, 67, a West Point grad, was beaten and thrown into a garbage dumpster. His body was discovered in a Wilmington, Del. landfill last New Year’s weekend. Both police detectives and news commentators described it as “an apparent hit,” but little else was ever learned, and no suspects have surfaced.
